Do I have to be online on Xbox live to play a downloaded full game?
I’m planning to get the full updated GTA San Andreas off the Xbox 360 Market Place, but I have to use my computor as a modem to get onto marketplace. My question is once I buy this full game for the full price will I have to connect online to play the game or will a downloaded game be playable offline once I buy it?

No you don’t. You are signed out of Live for most original Xbox games anyway because they do not support it.

I need to learn the rules so I can invest wisely. Online hands on tutorial would be great! I’m hoping for a ‘dummy’ portfolio to test the learnings I’m making as I go, something that would give me gains and loses directly connected to the actual stock market.

Check out Investopedia.com. They have a lot of good investing tools & an investing simulator where you can invest $1oo,ooo in virtual money. You can buy stocks at their present value & your “portfolio” is updated every 20 minutes i believe.

Is it possible to connect an iPod to an xbox 360?
I tried simply connecting up to my systems USB port, and while it does charge it, the console doesn’t recognize it as a portable device. I read online on some forum that there was software available to download off the xbox love marketplace that let you transfer unprotected music from iPods to the systems hard drive but I can’t seem to find it on the market. Is this software. No longer available? If it is does anyone happen to know where it’s categorized?

You need to download the Optional Media Update before it will recognize it, go here:
and if you’re using NXE it will download the software automatically the next time you turn on your Xbox. If you’re using the old dashboard it’s somewhere in Game Add-Ons.
That said, the 360 can’t play any protected content on your iPod(Such as songs/videos purchased from iTunes.), as Apple is run by jerks.

If a game doesn't have xbox live then it doesn't have multiplayer. You shouldn't be buying these games if you don't know how they work.
Yeah I’m pretty sure you can play original Xbox games on the 360, but if not you can always buy them off of Xbox Live
