		<description>This might sound stupid, but the first thing would be to make sure you don&#039;t end up that way. Take your education seriously and get as much out of it as you can. The first rule in lifesaving is to learn to swim yourself!

As far as ending poverty. You can&#039;t really help people that don&#039;t want to be helped. What I mean is, there are alot of people that live in poverty because they made very bad choices. There are also incidences of people who have lifted themselves up out of poverty by hard work and determination. 

These are decisions that can only be made by an individual, not collectively as a group. I&#039;m sure that you know people that see little or no value in education. Of course, if you ask most older people that don&#039;t have a good education and can&#039;t earn a living because of it, if they are honest they will tell you they regret not taking education seriously when they had the chance.

 One thing I do know is this. There have always been poor, there probably always will be, and just throwing money at the problem has never solved even a fraction of the problem.</description>
