In the second quarter of 2008, according to Internet World Statistics, the number of internet users was 1,463,632,631 – that is almost 1.5 billion people using the internet for anything from online shopping to those trying to succeed at making money online.
Surely with this amount of interaction online there must be many entrepreneurs making serious money from this, you may ask?
Well the answer is that whilst there certainly are many people making heaps of money on the internet, there are also many banging their heads against the wall without having any luck at all.
It appears that around 15% of online entrepreneurs are making 85% of the money transacted on the net – so are you part of the 15% or not?
So why is it that so few online entrepreneurs are making the big money – there must be an easy way to make really good money online?
So Lets See If There Really is an Easy Way to Make Money Online
Everyone will agree that it is hard to tell hype from the real deal.
Most of the money making products on the internet are to do with internet marketing & affiliate marketing and create so much expectation which often leads to extreme disappointment.
It is therefore no wonder that people often ask whether “anyone is making money online?”
Well the thing is that whilst many of these money making products do not offer much value some of them do have some real gems in them and if the purchaser of the product were to implement the strategies and work at it, they could actually realize some positive results.
So often it’s the over hyped sales pitch (promising unrealistic levels of success over a very short time) of what could actually be a decent product that leads to disappointment and the labeling of the product as a scam – result: another aspiring internet entrepreneur is left disillusioned with the whole making money on the internet.
In conclusion making money online is a reality and anyone can participate in the wealth that is available on the net – the problem for many is that they think it should be an easy way to make money when in fact it’s no easier than a bricks & mortar business – they both require extreme commitment and effort to realize any level of success.

It sure needs committment and – at least – some work to make a fortune online.
But it doesn’t need to be all that hard.
For instance my approach is working and marketing smarter instead of harder.

very true, it does require a fair amount of work but there are some things that where you have put systems in place you don’t have to go back to it much in the future as you reap the rewards.

I strongly agree. Blogging for money is just like any other business. The requirements are just the same.
so far i haven’t find any, online earning just like real life earning, you should either have big capital to start with or patience to start from zero cash which is painful and timeconsuming.
Most people read and believe the hype posted on sites by so many self endorsed guru’s, then after 2 minutes work say making money on line does not work. Here is a simple rule, when reading advice or joining a group etc look to see if they sit at the top of the tree.
I see many blogs on marketing / on line success / rady rady and yet they remain in dungeons of the blogging / inter net world so i ask should i follow this person and use him/her as a mentor to my business ?
there is no easy way to make money online…the only easy way is hardworking..
