Whatever industry or niche you’re in, you should have an above average knowledge of that topic, so put pen to paper (or fingers to keyboard!) and write some informative short articles (300 – 500 words) that would appeal to your target market. you can either distribute these works of art through article directories, or try to get them published on authority sites in your niche, or both. every publication earns you some backlinks, so get writing!

Explore the realm of social bookmarking and get your links featured on as many social networks are possible. the potential for a viral linking explosion is huge in any social network, so work on a good value offer to promote to these networks (something free and useful).

Follow some Blogs
Blog commenting is quite a popular link building technique in the SEO community. you simply follow some popular blogs in your niche or industry, and provide constructive comment where suitable, leaving your link in the comment. Keep an eye out for “nofollow” blogs though, as these will just be a time waster.
Differentiate or Die
This classic business phrase has a slightly different meaning in terms of link building. when building links (whatever method you may use), always try to differentiate your anchor text used across the web – at least to a certain degree. Having exactly the same anchor text in a thousand different links, all pointing to your site could potentially do more damage than good.
More than anything, commit to the link building process. the best link building strategy is a long term, consistent one. Decide on the number of links you wish to build on a monthly basis, and aim to achieve (and potentially grow) that figure every month. Be patient and have a little faith – your efforts will not go unrewarded.

No, but your question has motivated me further to read the book. I don't believe Kaufmann is a doctor or has much in the way of scientific credentials. But he seems to propose that fungal byproducts are the cause of most if not all of all cancers and promotes treatment by dietary changes and anti fungal medication
